Congratulations to Eileen Truax for winning a prestigious Knight Wallace Fellowship for Journalists!

Truax is an independent journalist whose work has appeared in The Washington Post, the Spanish editions of The New York Times and Newsweek, and 5W in Spain. Currently she's content director for the International Symposium on Migration Journalism, in Mérida, Spain. She is the author of three books “Dreamers: An Immigrant Generation’s Fight for Their American Dream” in 2015; “We Built the Wall: How the U.S. Keeps out Asylum Seekers from Mexico, Central America and Beyond” in 2018, and “How Does It Feel to be Unwanted? Stories of Resistance and Resilience from Mexicans Living in the U.S.”, also in 2018.
